I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
Kind of reminds me of Jeremy Clarkson's Espace Convertible in his Heaven And Hell DVD. Although it was much older.
You can find more pics at http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum...82&postcount=6
It was by Espera Sbarro in their French design house
Got a design sketch of it recently .......

the espace f1, this weird roofless thing.. why do they even bother? I mean, its a dull people carrier at the end of the day.. I'm sure they can waste their time on something else?
Because the Espace is a dull people carrier. This is supposed to zest it up, create interest in it.
You've clearly NEVER seen or heard the Espace F1 thenOriginally Posted by Cotterik
Remeber the Espace was a ground-breaker and because of that attracted designers to show what they could achieve within the constraints of the principle.
It's because of it's success in the early days that it has become "boring" to everyone I had an early Phase2 and it was fun tearing it up on the track and embarrasing some car drivers with it's performance It reallY DID handle well for the time - even better with all the seats removed Hand brake turning it would always create a fright in the car park at work !!!!
Sbarro always did odd things

These are ANCIENT. It's not new or intended to "zest" it up at all. It was Sbarro usign it to get attention for their new French design houseOriginally Posted by pimento

The Espace is also ancient. By supposed to, I meant was supposed to. Anyway, by creating interesting vehicles based on a dull people carrier you create more interest than an interesting vehicle based on another interesting vehicle.
who wears helmets in a minivan? (except the espace f1 MetA)
Who killed the Electric Car?
GO HABS GO!
For the same reason you wear a helmet in a Spider ( or a 7 with no srceen )Originally Posted by ZeTurbo

The Renault Espace F1 that I know of is gold and black and was based on a 1995 Williams F1 chassis with the relevant Renault engine.

See http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum...ight=espace+f1 a totally different vehicle - just one that looks slightly similar
