Terrible time for wisconsin... Fox news has this story about a protestor right now who is correct even if he has a limited vocabulary.

How many state workers, including the saintly teachers, DO NOT have a "limited vocabulary"?...a rhetorical contrivance, what? (P.S.- Their fight is NOT with "DA STATE", OR "DA RICH", but(t) the taxpayers...a group they'll find a great deal more powerful than either of the former. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!)

I do think I find more "snobbishness" in the USA now regarding regional dialects/speech/slang than in any other nation

Just as we finally seem to be getting rid of the BBC perfect English accents that surrounded and drowned us out for decades

but, zuzulo, WHAT is your problem ? Your coment on "state workers" seems delibrately provocative and limited in it's sensibility .... and structure

Not that I know of.

But was it satisfying? Hell yeah.

I hate cats. We have pebbles in the front yard. Every cat thinks it is kitty litter. I need to search for the cat crap like it's an Easter egg hunt every freaking time I'm home.

And the worst part is, there is a crazy cat woman behind me and she feeds the cats. Although I think with the poor economy and all, she stopped feeding them. All I'm waiting for is the cats to pass rabies off to her dog so she can die foaming at the mouth.

I was emailing Mr W as we are tryign to track down some footage he did for a product I developed in the 80s and we were chatting over the way things changed in science/engineernig shows as well as TG.

I repeat here his comment which I wholeheartedly agree with ......

And how right you are in saying that there was a time when the technology was important .................,
rather than all those boyish pranks and schoolboy language.
