I could never give up my truck for that very reason. Unlike most truck owners I fill mine to its maximum capacity (volume wise) weekly.

So do I...none of my friends in their $45,000 trucks do though.

    I need some Line-X.

Stfu, big cars are evil and you're a selfish bunghole if you drive one.

Don't forget I transport all this for a quarter of the fuel and probably a fraction of the insurance costs. I'd probably be quicker than most trucks/SUV's too

So you get 3MPG? Um, my truck is pretty cheap to insure.

I heard Mahindra (the tractor company) was planning to introduce a light duty truck to the US market. They claim their bed is one foot longer and one foot deeper than any of its competitor's. Best of all they developed a 2.0L diesel which they claim gets 39mpg.

Drakkie's Alto would probably embarrass your truck on an autocross course.

oops he said "1/4 of FUEL" NOT "fuel CONSUMPTION"
But certainly for the UK you're 100% right on the insurance - we get ripped off

Meh, I'm looking at the semi-busted Integra LS as my 1st car, then I plan on shifting to a 91-94 Subaru Legacy/Toyota Corolla.

I'm so jealous of the guy who'll claim that he can get a Mazda 3 as his 2nd car after moving up from his mom's FWD Corolla. At least I can revel in the fact he don't know shit about cars and must rely on my advice, which he usually discards because he dreams of a RX-8 with Lambo doors.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
