06 Toyota Camry SE, or Nissan Altima SE-R?

2007 Toyota Camry, completely re-styled to get rid of the "too bland" look. Projector beam headlights, an SE model with bodykit and sport-tuned suspension, and a 268hp 3.5liter V6 as an option and still get 30mpg hwy fuel economy. What's not to like? The Altima, totally sweet, performance suspension, Brembo Brakes etc. A 260hp 3.5liter V6 outputting 260hp. Which 1 is your type of car? (mine's the Camry SE, looks somewhat better than the SE-R)

    THE VERDICT
    Toyota Camry

Highs: Refinement, durability, subtle tactile aesthetics.

Lows: Can’t be persuaded to play.

The Verdict: A better-looking transport module.

last post for me in this thread. lol

Durability no more. All these new cars suck and are not reliable. The older models are more reliable than the new. All these manufacturers cut corners to make big profits and it shows in the number of recalls and it will show soon enough in reliability once these new cars start to show their true colors.

Rather than spending 30k on a Nissan and 30k on a Toyota I would get me something slightly used and RWD.
    Real cars are not FWD.
    FWD at it's best -

    .......ha

oh and toyota not reliable, hmmmmmm............ you can't really say they aren't unless you've owned a new one and found problems with it. my family actually owns two, previously three, and we have/had no problems with any of them. great mpg (since gas is at about 2-4 dollars a gal.). If anyone is ripping anyone off, its the customer ripping thier self off. Most recalls are covered by the manufacturer. so that makes no sense. other than all that. i would probably go with the new toyota camry.
    Ucp's #1 Toyota Supra fanatic......still.

Altima looks about 1,000 miles better, also a sportier drive (according to C&D Magazine).

Nissan always rock my boat for funky rides... I mean... the S-Cargo
