Shove it into a black Exige, and you've got a deal.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

I have to say for a family hatch the Civic looks like and enticing proposition. A bit on the expensive side, but good looking, modern and a fantastic interior.

But, honestly, wouldn't you rather have a Cosworth in it? I would.

Yeah, I'd have to say a Cossie would hold more appeal...but given this is a HonDUH thread...

Saw a spankers civic type-R on wed, looks abit like R2-D2 on wheels.

still, it was a fresh change, and certianly looked good.

Well forgive me for making this my first post on this forum, but "blewUaway" needs to take his thumb out of his arsehole and catch a wake up. Comparing Honda to Saturn is like comparing Micheal Schumacher to the latest rookie A1 driver. You can't.

Take a look at the reliability records. The Fit/Jazz is constantly the number one car in SA for CSI and least faults per 100 new vehicles... The Civic Type-R (we get the FN2 hatch) has been acclaimed by just about every single publication as the best Hot Hatch, I could go on for hours. The Civic sedan won the 2007 COTY award here. The new diesel motors are probably the cleanest and quietest you can get.

And the fact that Honda neither owns another manufacturer (who would sponge off Honda's technology) nor IS OWNED by another manufacturer (where Honda could sponge of their technology) proves Honda's success. Never insult a man on a bicycle with a water bottle as a fuel tank.

And yes I am a Honda fan, I run the Honda Owners Club of South Africa.

I'm really glad to see somebody step up for Honda! They're a fantastic company with an excellent heritage.

    I absolutely love Honda.

A 1992 Honda Civic Si was my first ever car and I still get the pleasure of driving my dad's S2000 around.

My dad told me if he were to buy a new car today he would just be buying another S2000.

^ i think if i had to have one, it'd be turbo/supercharged. i respect them as is but didn't really like the (this will sound cliche) lack of torque, i know it's not a problem if you keep it at a squillion rpm but to make it perfect for me i'd have to go FI just not my driving style i guess?
