Operating System : Windows 2000/XP/Vista
CPU : Intel P4 @ 2.4Ghz or AMD Athlon 2800+.
GPU (Video Cards) : ATI Radeon 9800 256MB VRAM or Nvidia 6600 GT with 256 MB of VRAM. Video Cards with vertex/pixel shaders 2.x and above are recommended.
SPU (Sound Cards) : DirectX 9.0 compatible Sound Card.
System Memory : 512 MB, 1 GB recommended
Hard Disk free space: 8 GB DVD drive: 8x minimum
DirectX 9.0C (included)
The Ace of All Aces.
Crysis. Maximum Game.
Trust me on this one everybody, if you have the minumum spec list, the game WILL run absolutly crap! We have been editing the game files for people with lower grade systems (which even outperform the minimum spec list) and now they seem to get just around 25 fps. (turned of Grass, Wind, Birds, Papers, Leaves, Shine and more..)
this game is very heavy for your system!
i've got a
Pentium 930D (3.00 ghz x2)
X1800XT 512MB Graphics Card
2048mb Dual Channal Ram
and im running the game in 1280x1024, full detail and 4x AA, and im getting just over 30fps in the city area's

B***er thats me out of the game then.
Agree, especially for the dense textures you do want at least 256MB on your video card, plus a long-range view distance sure does slow things down. My recommendation for an ideal experience would be a Pentium D (or dual-core Xeon) or Athlon X2 (or dual-core Opteron), 1GB of memory, and 7600GT or above.
My system's been running this game on 1680x1050, 8x CSAA, 16x AF.

The Datto will rage again...

I'm contemplating buying an xbox 360 for TDU and RB6 - vegas, and thus im aware of HCM (hard core mode) and have been reading forums that dont like it because it makes higher speeds less stable, and cars tend to be abit more realistic...
however one member has warned me off the game because of the physics...
is this game worth buying?....

I think, that TDU with HCM and All download packages is a game rated 8.5 out of 10. If you get a steering wheel that will make it even better! And with RB6 it's well fcking worth it! RB6 is defintly one of teh best games on the market right now!

The physics are a bit off as you can expect from an arcade game, the game is quite entertaining, if you find the game relatively cheap I guess it's worth it. I wouldn't pay full price for it though. You wont be disappointed RB6 if you like that type of games (slow pace realistic FPS). Other games that I definitely can recommend are Oblivion and Condemned, and personally I won't miss Forza 2 once it's released.
