I don't doubt that's Alizee' voice in her video but after watching is again it seems she's lip-syncing.

I think a many Artists do this. One, to present the best sounding versions of songs and maybe also to save their voice. On a hectic tour, I think it'd be hard to sing loudly day after day...

I dunno about Alizee, but true vocal talent is really lacking these days. In the charts, how many people can you name who can actually sing live? I remember when Nelly & Kelly - Dilemma was a big hit, they were on ToTP. And Nelly was singing better than Kelly, she sounded really awful! Couldnt hit the notes! These talent show winners fare a bit better, because they have to prove themselves away from the studios initially.

I think a lot of that has to do with looks/beauty. I'm sure there are many fabulous vocal artists out there, but they lack the pretty face and perfect body that the companies look for. That's why people like Shakira, Britney Spears, Alizee, and those 'good-looking' guys do so well in the industry.
