    2006 Pontiac Grand Prix

Is a slighty under rated sub sports sedan. Its better than a Ford Fusion. Somehow it doesn't sell that well. This a american sports sedan that I would actually shed out money and buy (and have for few months) in black. Way better the G6 in my opinion.

It has a optional GM steering wheel mounted paddle gear shift for the auto. It has some GM techs like "Magnisteer" and things.
It three range of motors a V6, a supercharged V6, and small block. However the small blocked it mated to FWD platform only

    Engines specs

    3.8L 3800 Series III V6 with 200 hp and 230 lb-ft of torque
MPG mileage estimates** 3.8L engine: 20/30 (city/highway mpg)

3.8L 3800 Series III V6 Supercharged with Electronic Throttle Control with 260 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque
    Supercharged: 18/28 (city/highway mpg)

    5.3L 5300 V8 with 303 hp and 323 lb-ft of torque
Transmission 4-speed automatic electronically controlled with overdrive
    TAPshift is available
    5.3L 5300 V8: 17/28 (city/highway mpg)

Standard Capacities Fuel capacity: 17 gallons (approx.)
    Seating capacity: 5

-The reason why i like it. Its rare. Its cheap $US21-29K, it has good suprizingly decent looks- tho could be better fit n finish, it has good performance and is performance oriented- towards the CTS. And at times its looks much better in real life- paricularily in black.
Verdict: so its not a crafty and its fit in finish and lack off fine combing, it would've been superb. But the design is good and original and fits pontiac's design heritage and image. Its simple.

Personally, it looks like a p.o.s, pretty dog ugly design from my point of view, the front end needs some attention, as does the rear, the side is its only saving grace. For a car at such a price I would think they would offer something that would look half decent :|

i love the new grand prix. i like how GM has a pretty nice line of supercharged cars, more companies should do the same when it comes to forced induction. but if i could have this car, id take it with a V8. recently i was sitting in my school parking lot and there was a V8 grand prix idling next to me... need i say more? i do think tho that the design is getting a little old. GM hasnt really undergone a complete redesign of this car in quite awhile, although i do like the colors and trim levels this car comes in. i just wish that companies would start making more rear-wheel-drive and 4WD cars. when was the last time u saw a 5.3 liter powering the front wheels?
