who will win the world cup 2006

i myself lived 9 years in the ivory coast and i am realy pleased with the way drogba is making his team works realy hard and i beleive that they were a bit unlucky first because their in the groop of death and 2nd because they played realy well..but i always was a dutch suporter and i beleive this year its for the dutch.. i dont think their playing as good as they can but Robin is verry impressive and dangerous ...
i dont beleive argantina is the strongest team out their ..yes they did play well again Serbia and montenegro but lets be real.. Serbia & montenegro did play like shit...

once england drop lampard and put in carrick then they will start to get much better...because gerrard and lampard cant play together and by putting in carrick you have the security of someone in the midfield that only tackles and passes thus allowing gerrard are more freer role...
but on current form it has to be aregentina..what a performance, but performance so far in the tournament...

Brazil: meh I don't like them at all. They're good but I just can't like them.
Holland: I can't root for them because I'm Belgian.
    England: VERY disappointing
France: meh, the team isn't what it should be
Germany: they've surprised me already but I don't think they'll get far. Too inexperienced, the players are [/Yoda]

Argentina and Italy are my favourites. But Italy just a little bit more. Altough after the USA-Italy incident I'm bound to change my opinion.

And I'm rooting for Portugal as well. But they probably won't go very far.

I'm always a supporter of the USA, because it's my home country. I also root for England and Germany because those two countries are where my ancestry is from. But this year I would really like to see the Netherlands win. I really like and enjoy watching Robben, Persie and Nistelrooy do their stuff.

As was made clear by our coach (and completely ignored by all the media) he does not expect The Netherlands to win at all. They might be the only real "team" i have seen, but the midfield and defense are too inexperienced and weak They might make it till quarter final if they are lucky...

My guess would be Germany vs. ???

And England won't get high on any tournament because they are not a real team, only individuals playing to get their money. Same for Brazil though the individuals are slightly better.

The only valid reason for me to support France is that it could improve the current economic state.
But a friend of mine is portuguese so Go Portugal.

    Forgot 2 major details...

    1. France will have it hard to make it through this round;
    2. No place to vote for Portugal, best European team present (according to Euro 2004) and the most consistent mixture of youth, experience and talent...

Portugal sucked in the first 2 games Spain playes very well, should be in the poll. Argentina playes the best so far. The Netherlands will grow in the tournament, but I don't expect them to win.

    Reminds me of a quote.

"An Irishman will only vouch for two teams: Another Irishman and anyone playing against England."
