Thanks for all the fish
What car is this??? I spoted this today and i was kinda confused.
Is it a 520i with a M5 bodykit + exhaust + rims
or
is it a M5 with a 520i badge?
Neither one of the two possibilities make any sense.
If you want to pimp your 520i you at least take of the badge.
If you own a M5 why do you put that badge on the back???
You can only get smarter by playing a smarter opponent.

EDIT : very well made indeed. You should have checked if it had the sequential gearbox.

if you just call it an "ugly black BMW" you can't go wrong

I think it is a M5 with a 520 badge..

I also think it's an M5.
Just look at the brakes and everything...
I dunno, I think it's a dumb owner who was smart enough to transform it into an M5 but forgot to take off the badge of his pimped 520 and drop in the V-10.
Seriously, you should have looked inside to see if there was M badges on the steering wheel and dash. Also, the seven speed gearbox would have given it away.
Saw this today in a parade... clueless. Any help appreciated.

a low rider design, remotely based on a 1949 Mercury

It's a custom hot rod all right, but it's definitely not a '49 Mercury. I'd say late '30's/early '40's Lincoln, like the 1940 Lincoln Zephyr pictured here.
