    Barracuda debuted as the sporty coupe variant of 2nd-gen Valiant and was a precursor (by 2 weeks!) to the original Ford Mustang. It was the only Valiant-based model to get that unique (and US-only) fastback body-style, which is distinguished by its huge wrap-over back window
