The back of the car isn't too bad, but the front is just plain ugly. Looks like a damn SUV.

The quarter mile mercenary. I love it.

Also I want an iron block with forged internals please to piss off the VQ35DE or the 450z and I also want some big ****ing gas guzzling turbos. I also want the older 6 speed Getrag w16 but stronger.

But really I would rather have an Inline 6 cylinder engine like the old one but stronger. It's not going to be as good as the old one. The MKIV is legendary, a true quarter mile mercenary. I vouch and swear by the MKIV that it will beat this new MKV even tuned.

i don't know where you get the idea that supra's are somehow good down the 1/4 mile.

You are right. The engine in this new MKV will suck. The MKIV is great for the quarter mile.

you'd be freaking lucky/rolling in cash to get a supra below 9 seconds - i have a pic of a pair of 8 second supras but they are extensively worked. there are quite a few cars that will do that a lot cheaper.

Well than if you say that there are cars that will do it cheaper without changing out too many parts which ones? I'll have to change my mind about the Supra then. The Supra does 9sec with a stock rear, stock internals, stock transmission and just bigger turbos and is still street legal.

any American straight line warrior will do it. especially a fox body of some sort, especially with the aftermarket support and parts prices in the US.

    LOL
no. just...no. apart from the fact you're completely ignoring the need to do a single turbo conversion to get anywhere near those times, and that the supra struggles with traction to get below 11 seconds. Yes the engine can make great power no it can't put it down. they are Dyno Queens.

Clutch is right, when they start making the big power they just cant get it to the tarmac. if you look at any sub 10 sec supras youll see they have MASSIVE tubbed rear wheels. hell ive seen a mid 11s start spinning on the dyno

I don't see any Fox bodys racing, they are all broken down on Ebay.

I see Cobra vs RX7 vs Supra vs STi vs Evo vs 350z vs Skyline vs S2000 and the Supra is always winning.

Wow, it's like he's actually taken as definitive truth all the sterotyping jokes made about particular models.

The question is: Do you REALLY see that? Or do you see that...in your mind?!
