got the same thing. exactly. have a previous generation nano.. it's feeling lonely. i really think they designed the iphone to be more compatible with PCs than macs. i have a dell laptop and my wife has a macbook, mine is much better sorted with integrating with outlook and itunes than hers is.

I don't necessarily need to carry both, the touch can just be with me one weekends or something. And i don't have to pay an extra 50 bucks a month for it.

It was only 30 dollars more from my existing data plan. Plus 3g and edge is a plus.

130/month for me and my wife, 105 with military discount. not much more than a non-data plan for the 2 of us. and you really cant beat the 3g
