    - Operating system will be Windows 7
You can run games faster and more efficiently on XP pro, its a whole lot less demanding than Windows 7 and is easier to use IMO. You do lose security that you get with Windows 7.

XP is less demanding to run, so there is less of need for power. All the power your talking about putting down in the computer will equal a beast! My friends laptop with 7 has 6gb of ram in it, its built for gaming and has an ATI graphics car and it plays games only slightly faster than my computer. Its an eMachines case, with some random motherboard idk what kind, 1gb of ram, a 60gb HDD, 1gb of DDR1 memory, and a 256mb amd ATI Radeon X700 pro graphics card.

With up to date components, there's no performance gain to be had with using XP over 7, and if you want 8GB of RAM then you need a 64-bit OS to use it. There's a 64-bit version of XP, but it's not well supported. Go with 7.

Also, it's all very well being able to run games as fast as other computers, but is it the latest ones with all the graphical options turned up to the max?

I'm not very fond of any windows releases other than XP, if I could use it without any hassle I would use linux full time. I like shininess too XD it looks good on sauerbraten.

    sususudio!!!!

Wanted to try something less extreme (and cheaper) than the supposedly Australian brand I'm using. haha
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
