Got a new cell phone (again) this thursday. A Nokia 6300. Returned it yesterday to get it fixed. It stops recognizing the micro SD card after 5minutes. When you reboot it, it's back for five minutes before it disappears again.
They gave me a Siemens SL75 as a loaner. Which sucks.
Hmm, I find that Nokia's feel very cheap and tacky now-a-days and their menu systems are so slow and annoying compared to those of old, I loved my old 3510i and it was the only phone to last me well over a year. Best phones to go for now would be Sony Ericsson or Samsung IMO

I had an N72 before I got the 6300. It sold it for two reasons: the weight and general bulkyness and the OS. The S60 OS is slow, even on the newest phones. I'm not getting a smartphone again untill they work out the slowness.
I agree that most Nokias these days aren't what they used to be. But the 6300 is a phone that brings back that great build quality and the S40 third edition OS is great.Hmm, I find that Nokia's feel very cheap and tacky now-a-days and their menu systems are so slow and annoying compared to those of old, I loved my old 3510i and it was the only phone to last me well over a year. I used to be a huge ericsson fan but they mostly suck these days IMHO. In the beginning they are great but after a few months they start to act up and the SE joysticks all die. Those joysticks are a disaster. My K750i had a screwed up joystick as well. SE doesn't really have anything that appeals to me at the moment so I went with Nokia.
Nokia and SE are the only phone makers that have an easy to use OS IMHO. The Siemens I'm temporarily using right now has a horrible OS. My dad's Samsung is horrible as well.
They usually are the same, but maybe the Mini's gone in for repairs at somewhere other than Mini, our old Audi didn't go back to Audi for repair when the Dutch trucker sent it accross the M25 like a Hockey Puck, it went to a place the insurance company suggested and we got a godaweful purple Nissan Micra... That said we got a Citroen when the Citroen went in and a Rover when the LandRover went in, but at that time the dealer was a Rover/MG/Mini/LandRover dealer (1998), now it's FiveOaks Audi

Lost my damned Sharp 8300 so i'm getting this as a quick cheap replacement. 50 bucks used. Probably could've gotten a better deal but it'll do for now..
Terrible battery life. buttons are meant to be fairly awkward, but the media package is good and it's reasonably simple to navigate.
