Why is everyone grumping about this thread. What you're looking at is the quickets car in the world and its latest contender. Regardless of whether or not they're for totally different things, they are still theoretically an interesting match.

Bugatti. sometimes i want to arrive to my destination in comfort, surrounded by expensive materials knowing that i own a piece of history.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

caparo is a better car at everything except top speed and while i am in a car
having fun powersliding or anything a top speed of 200mph is all i want to reach. Plus 3g while turning is brilliant and it looks better. For a car to be faster i think acceleration. As Lee noble said making a car go 200mph (or 253ph in this case) is easy acceleration is were it counts.Plus the caparo has limited revs due relieabiltiy, so it could be able to go faster in the future while the bugatti is the peak of what volkswagon could do with it

I have to go with the the Caparo. The Bugatti is just to heavy, and 10.500rpm in the T1 is unbeatable. I like them both but think that that the Caparo would be more fun.

Right... it's been almost a year. No one cares anymore.

both cars are amazing. if i had to choose one it has to be the bugatti.

for me it resembles engineering excellence, on the other hand the caparo has to be the ultimate drive.

The man behind the McLaren F1 had a small hand in the Caparo as well as 2 former McLaren formula one guys. The T1 is an exercise in engineering brilliance as well as it looks amazing and its just an incredible achievement. Not to take anything away from the Bugatti, which in its own right is an engineering marval, but I think that overall the F1 car for the street appeals more to me than the Bugatti.

That man behind the McLaren F1 is Gordon Murray and he did an article about the T1 in the August 2007 issue of Road & Track. It was a very good read. I recommed anyone to read it.

I hear the T1 had a pretty stinking time at Goodwood. I hope it isn't a sign of things to come. And even more than that I hope it isn't going to have a dramatic effect on order numbers.
