Hey guys..been a while since i've started up a thread but here's a good occasion to..got a ride in an RS4. As some of you know my neighbour is a test driver for sports car revolution, if u don't search my past threads. Anyways yea he got an RS4 to test drive, one of three at Audi Toronto currently. The ride is amazing..and man can that thing accelerate. He took me for a spin around the neighbourhood, wow that car sounds beautiful..well enough of me here are some pics..

You're a lucky guy, if I could own any sedan, that'd be it.
i was waiting on a moment, but the moment never came. all the billion other moments, were just slipping all away. i must have been tripping, we're just slipping all away. just ego tripping.

Man, that car is nice... don't let Vaigra see that, he nearly castrated me when I got a ride in an FQ-400!

It's so subtle. I luffs it.

ask him at which speed the speed limiter kicks in, the "old" RS4 could reach 280kmh before slowly slowing down to 250..

Nice car, disgusting colour! Why oh why would someone choose a car like that and then tick the "battleship" or "1000 miles of M25 grime" grey option?

It's called subtlety- if you've got firepower, you disguise it- more of a feature of the late 90's and 2000's. Indeed, the original Audi nutmobile, the RS2, was available in a striking electric blue, and the RS4 that followed was available in some properly minging colours- i.e. Bacardi Yellow

The RS6, however, was available in mainly subtle colours. The only really obvious one was Milano Red, the rest were restrained. It's been brightened up with the new RS4, but the subtle colours are available- along with electric blue, sick yellow and screaming red.

I may do a graph about it one day...

Lol and what better way to disguise firepower than to paint the car the colour of an aircraft carrier?

On a serious note though, that colour just looks like someone couldn't be arsed to paint the car. There are subtle colours that also look classy, i.e. metallic black (note the spider advert for this car). Don't forget the fact that on upmarket Audis, you can literally have the car in any colour you want for £1,000 extra.

There are millions of colours out there, so why choose the most boring - grey? Next it'll be beige.

The weather's depressing in Britain as it is - our cars don't have to be the same. A colour that would look good would be a dark metallic red (similar to the colour of red wine) with a gold fleck in it. Or a dark blue that shone bright bluey-purple under petrol station lighting. (My Ultra Blue Corsa does that, not exactly a luxury car but it looks much more attractive than the battalions of grey and silver BMW 320d's that are gradually taking over the world).

Because aircraft carriers are unarmed (I think). They have an escort and a buch of planes to do all the fighting. :P

    nearly?!

I envy you BMWpower, but hey at least you haven't driven it yet
and BTW, the first RS4 I saw was in this colour, doesn't make it any less intimidating and amazing
