yeah its online and its worked for me flawlessly! zero glitches so far and very very smooth...no lag...which is amazing since the graphics are pretty much more real than real life

Thats awesome. When new games come out servers always tend to lag. Anybody who has ever played Socom 3 or 25 To Life would know what I mean

well it can lag out, like this mroning it did for the first time, but it was because the host left the game right as it was starting

but to get back to the menu to choose another online match is very fast(20 seconds at most)..unlike ghost recon which sometimes takes 3-4 minutes to load

Great, GOW was the one game I thought I wouldn't need to play, not I've got 4 games coming out this month that I want Forza 2, Call of Duty 3 (which is out already!), Rainbow Six: Vegas and now GOW. That like £160 (Roughly $190) worth of games!

Forza 2 comes out next year.

This game has everything. Lag-free online, great co-op, great story, smart ass AI, TONs of blood, bloody awesome weapons (chainsaw anyone?), and funny characters.

Screw Halo, THIS is the Xbox 360 Game to Play.

right on, I did some intense co-op last night with my friend the biggest halo fanboy of all time....even he had to admit it was the best game he'd ever played...he's getting it today for himself

it really is amazing, im still serious about how i dont know how ill ever play another fps game until gow 2 comes out, they set the bar so freakin high on this game its really going to hurt the competition

I didn't even know they were working on a 2nd installation.

But it does beat Halo/2 and most likely 3 in terms of gameplay, even if Halo 3 comes out next Nov. The story line is a lot better, and there's a lot more depth to everything.

This actually makes Halo look like a 10 year old's game.

thats a hell of a vague and early statement, seeing as

a) little is known about Halo 3, let alone gameplay, psychics engine etc etc.
b) both games differ in thier primary aspects, i.e first person, third person, duck and cover, run and gun, vehicles
c) halo 3 will be in development for longer, and in all possiblities have a much larger development budget seeing as the halo movie should be being filmed soon.

cool. the trailers look interesting. but im yet to find someone making an IN GAME one. only the E3 demo.

There will be no movie. Universal Studios and 1 other film corporation pulled out. It is dead.

not entirely, they have'nt put the axe on the film at all. (rottentomatoes is your best friend ) there are currently 3 paths that the director / producer can take, one of which is independent funding and choosing microsoft or a different source to fund the distribution, its been done before and im confident that in time it will still be made. I didn't say anything about it being good did I? Peter Jackson behind the lens isn't bad news either, and with a "half game, half movie" type concept it can be pulled off. If it eventually gets made ill be heading in with a low state of expectation.
