I don't think they'll win but the Canadiens is my team of choice when playing NHL games. Plus they have Koivu as C.

I used to love watching the Red Wings when they still had Yzerman and Hasek... Although I must say I loved Holmstrom's play during the Olympics early this year. Shame I can't really follow the NHL that good over here. I badly want my dad to get digital TV so we can get some (American) sports channels...

A shame we lost in Turin... I refer to that event as "the event which will not be spoken of".

It's not very popular over here but I'm a huge fan. Last year the WC for B-groups was in Eindhoven and I was there all 3 days and watched all 9 games. You can say I'm a hockey fan...

I'd like to say that my team, the Sharks, are going to do well, but it just seems like some nights they just don't have the heart for it. And yet, on other nights, their play is the equal of any team in the sport. The team is deep, has scoring from all the lines, both defense and offensive players, they're big and can get physical, and yet also have speed. If they can nail down the inconsistent metality, they will absolutely tear some ass.

For a rookie that is impressive. For a rookie to pull that shit out on brodeur... thats for the records.

They're doing average... They just don't seem to be able to beat France and Italy to get to the group A. But recently they convinced some Dutch/Candadian rookies to choose for the Netherlands. This might be a good impulse for the whole squad.
