Lamborghini will be building a SUV based on the same platform as it’s parent Audi’s Audi Q5.

This was breaking news about a year ago.

Lamborghini being a tractor maker, it's surprising that they haven't yet jumped on the SUV bandwagon. Slogan: Lamborghini (enter soulful African name of choice for full effect), built Tractor Tough.

Honestly, I don't know how to respond to that chop. Kinda reminds me of an FJ-cruiser style Tonka truck-like design with those huge wheels, but I actually think if Lambo made an SUV, it would look sweet.

That is horrifically ugly. More the reason for the rich to buy.

That's a really, really poor chop. It looks nothing like the prototype recenly photographed while undergoing testing at the Nurburgring. You can clearly see how "out of the box" Lambo designers and engineers are with this project. According to a Lamborghini press release, the vehicle, tentatively named Lamborghini Big Toy, "Will be Lamborghini's first 'monoposto' SUV. The vehicle is targeted at performance-concious young bachelors who desire a vehicle that can not only put most performance cars to shame, but also plow a field. "Today drivers want a vehicle that can perform many tasks," said Pope Ratzenburger inexplicably to a crowd of 60,000 standing outside the Vatican Saturday morning. The vehicle will also feature the image of an American flag and, for some reason, a combine on the engine cover. This feature is non-negotiable and will soon be a standard addition to the entire Lamborghini range, which will include in the near future spaceships, motorized canoes, and mobile homes."
