If you asked 1000 "average/regular" people on the street this question... Do you prefer/like Aston Martin or Ferrari? I would guess more than 80% of those people would say they like Ferrari more than Aston Martin.
Btw, I like Ferrari much more than Aston Martin. In my opinion Ferrari make more beautiful cars than Aston Martin. You can see the passion, flair and prescence and beauty of a Ferrari when you look at nearly any model of Ferrari. IMO Aston Martin's are too boring for me. I think the AM DB9's physical appearance is extremely over-rated.

That is a tough one. I suppose the Aston Martin is more comfortable than those Ferrari seats, but the Ferrari has a gearbox that works.. :_

It's about cooler guys. Hence Aston Martins would be the obvious answer.
Hell no. Ferrari are faster and cooler. AM belong in the 'Sports Luxury' category. Ferrari, on the other hand, make great supercars. So Ferrari it is.Yes, debuting the DBS in Casino Royale... or losing at races.Originally Posted by PerfAdv

Visca Catalunya!
You bring up a good point. Also, the general public that doesn't know anything about cars will notice a ferrari over an aston (not just becuase of the bright colors) and they'll stare after it, but when an aston drives by they dont even flinch. It just doesnt stand out to the regulars.Originally Posted by john14

Oh, yes the Vanquish from 5 years ago, that's the one.
Aston Martin has been officially declared the coolest brand in the UK, not just cars but all brands.
Meanwhile, Michael Schumacher is representative of Ferrari. Is he cool? Is he balls! He is German for starters, his favourite musicians are Phil Collins and Tina Turner and he probably wears socks with sandals.
A lot of people posting in this thread seem to have confused concepts such as "known", "liked", "fastest" with "coolest" as well. Try and keep up.
Thanks for all the fish
That's true, a lot of people think the original VW Bug is cool. "Cool" is whatever you like, so who's to say if it ain't cool, or how cool something really is.
If enough People consider the AM cooler than a Ferrari than who can dispute that? It isn't like a fact is being stated that can be questioned. AM is cooler because people who really know and matter like it better. OK, that last statement is just a little spiteful.

Astons are cooler, but the preformance on the Ferraris kick ass. We're talking in general here though. The 599 GTB is definately on my top 3 fav cars.

not many brands left in the UK, eh? (of course it is impossible that a non-UK brand would grab that award)Originally Posted by Coventrysucks

94 International brands.
Ferrari isn't even on the list.

I am sure the brand who produced this unmanageable website will only be featured in the "worst brands" list...Originally Posted by Coventrysucks

Under the F-beginning brands in Holland I found Fisher-Price...
Cool brands in Italy: Lancia and Volvo (and Nescafe)
Long live the marketing humbug.
