What pets do you want/own?

when I get a backyard I want a tortoise. I figure it'd be pretty easy to feed, just lettuce and other fruits and veggies. I just hope they aren't too heavy and kill the grass.

nope, good on grass
and unless its a bigass tortoise it will be a piece of cake to handle...

It might even keep the grass short. And fertilize it.

Unless you're getting one of those huge Galapagos tortoises, which will probably decimate all foliage in your house.
