Just wait till your gas prices go upto the levels ours are on
Last time it was 1.37 euro for 1 Litre. 1,37 euro is 1,80 $. 1 gallon is 3,78 litres. So one gallon for me is 7 dollar. It changes a lot to the situation, right

and i do a lot of long distance driving so its great. also it is rediculously comfortable,
    Drive a Citroen and compare

has plenty of power (great for towing) and commands the road not to mention its comfortable to sleep in when necessary, and its good looking.
Then we think quite differently about aesthetics.

also, it has tons of interior room which is great for hauling my buddies when we all wanna go to lunch, or to the bars. its also very nice because when i had a pickup me and my friends usually took 2-3 trucks hunting between 4-5 people (and 4-6 dogs) but now with the subub we just take one vehicle and we are much more comfortable.
My supermini Suzuki Alto can comfortably carry 4 person including four laptop bags and overalls. For fishing I just borrow a small trailer to carry all out stuff. Quite a lot easier and economically friendly.

while its not the best vehicle for some people, it suits my lifestyle perfectly.
Glad our lifestyles differ and we have different needs. If everyone would be the same, it'd be so boring.

it would take me 2 camry's to haul all the people i can in the suburban, and probably add another 2 when you put the gear in and then add another 4 for towing purposes and then i would be even with the suburban but i wouldn't be as comfortable.
The sub. uses the amount of fuel for 8 Camry's !! Wow, i didnt expect that amount

Plus it wouldn't fit in Europe, but he lives in America so this and all of the above doesn't apply.

Citroens are few and far between in Uhmerikah.

Hell, I had 7 people in my car last night, one of them was in the trunk. Sometimes you need a car like a suburban to lug people around.

Probably only 2 times the amount realistically speaking.

yah i was talking about needing 8 camry's to do all the stuff i do in 1 suburban. i would definately burn a lot more gas in 8 camry's than i do in 1 suburban.

as for the gas prices going up i usually just drive the camaro around town and while it doesn't get amazing mileage the mileage is pretty good and a hell of a lot better than the subub. although if i had to choose only 1 i would choose the subub cause its a lot more useful.

And that's without entering to discuss fuel consumption...

Don't need Matra to comment on this one. Those things are cannibals of oil.

The Honda Accord and Civic are pretty good as an everyday car. The Toyota Camery and Corolla are pretty good too.

Yeah, I did say 'good on your wallet in terms of depreciation etc.' deliberately leaving out the fuel costs and oil usage. lol

I personally would say the M5. Everyday greatness, comfortable, power, great sound system, truck space, cabin space. I love it.

Actually, Matra seems to think they're not that bad in that respect.

They do shrink the wallet due to hideous MPG figures though...! This he admits to.

I'll add the quote to this post when I can find what I'm looking for...
