For the UK viewers.
The repeat is on ITV1 now.
I'm getting angry at adverts interrupting the race every 10 minutes. Not happy in the slightest.
Indeed. The undertray of the RBR must've been less than a foot away from connecting with Wurz's head...
I quite agree. It's ridiculous to write off a whole season after just one race, which in truth wasn't that bad anyway.
Yes, but there are still just the 2 compounds at each individual event. It still doesn't explain why they can't mark the softer of the 2 compounds in a way that is recognisable by the fans. As the Massa situation highlights it was still a little unclear as to who was on what tyre even watching on the television, what hope is there for the fans at trackside? It just seems like a relatively simple solution to the problem, I can't see any major obstacle to them doing it.Originally Posted by fpv_gtho

BMW surprised me a great deal. I anticipated them being stronger this season, but not by this much. Sure, it's just one race in, but if this is any indication of things to come it's going to be one very interesting F1 season.
Guess I was completely wrong about Button taking the crown this year as well... Oh well.
To Pando:
The Alonso pitstop was 1.5seconds shorter than Hamiltons. Also, Sato not getting out of the way meant Hamilton lost the 1.5seconds he had on Alonso before his pitstop.
Also agree that Wurz is very lucky, i was crapping myself when i saw that, it's one of them moments which send a shiver down your spine.
Yes, but considering how difficult it was for Massa to get past the considerably slower Hondas, there will be no overtaking.
Not knowing the final table standings is not sufficient to qualify as "excitement".
I stayed up to watch the qualifying live, noticed V8 supercars was on and watched that instead; it was more interesting than both the F1 qualifying I missed, and the race I didn't.
