    it only uses the tail lights from a cayman....

    Yeah, the body is RUF made. There are just body panels from the 911 and Cayman so it seems.

    Does anyone know if this is the same engine from the Rt 12?

    I was actually wondering about the frame - it sounds like RUF made that as well but I really don't know.

    Yes, it's definitely confusing. Either way the car looks awesome and should go like stink.

    I would think that they just used a body panel or two from the Cayman, because the Ruf is slightly longer, wider, and lower. It also has a longer wheelbase and wider front and rear tracks. The suspension setups are similar though, except the Ruf has the horizontal coil over shock absorbers in the rear.
