    Lamborghini Murcielago Superleggera (scoop)

Courtesy of: WorldCarFans.com, where the full article can be read.

Lamborghini are introducing another hardcore model to their lineup in the Murci Superleggera. Good to see Lambo are making hardcore models again . Looks beautiful. Probably one last hurrah for the V12 thats dated back so many years and so many models.

It may be the type of wing used, but it does not look good at all on this car. While the addition of the wing on the Gallardo Superleggera added that extra ´something´ on the looks of the car IMO. But of course, the wing is not there for looks but to create extra downforce. Although, that´s what I assume on a SL version.

Looks like a nice car from Lambo. But the wing is questionable. I have to agree with Man of Steel. It must be there for extra downforce because it does not add to the style of the car.
    Any performance figures yet.

In fact the current V12 in the Muecielago LP640 can trace its roots back to the original 3.5-litre V12 fitted in the 350 GT.

They are the first spy pictures, so no performance figures whatsoever. 700bhp are rumoured, though.

Wow, that wing looks ****ing ugly, is it confirmed that it will be on the Murci SL???. My last R&T had a VERY small article on the Gallardo SL and it looked bad ass...

So is this supposed to be better than the LP640, worse or just different?? I'm guessing the rumoured 700hp means better..

They would HAVE to do more than just a body kit. Im just wondering whether they are going to add the carbon fibre diffusers, like they did on the Gallardo SL...

Reading the article before making assumptions would be interesting.

I see it a bit like a modern day Jota.

Lamborghini has made its name by sticking to the road — Lambo racecars have been few and far between. Hopefully somebody will still be able to register the thing and do the theoretical grocery shopping in it.

That is going to be a harsh, hardcore beastly machine. I look forward to it. It should live up to the Lamborghini name and history.

I like it, because I think a car like this doesn't need a spoiler for looks when its flying at 200+ mph
