    Upgrades to E46

while my car is at century with clutch and flywheel replacement, ive been shopping for some new stuff to throw on. i think most of you understand that i want to maintain a classy appearance, and i just need some opinions from members. first of all, heres the link to the pics of my car http://ultimatecarpage.com/forum/sho...t=29971&page=2

    1. corner turn signals. currently i have the factory amber turn signals, and im not sure if i like it with the black. there are a couple options, smoked and clear.
http://bimmian.com/vehicle.htm?veh=46 has a link to clear and smoked
EDIT: i can also leave in the original amber bulbs to get rid of that total crystal look or do clear bulbs

    2. LED tail lights. the tail lights are also amber, but could also be again upgraded. very pricey, 500 hundred bucks, but look very good imo
    also from http://bimmian.com/vehicle.htm?veh=46

    3. full kit: bimmian offers full 6 or 8 piece light kits, replacing tail lights with red clear red or clear over red, clear turn signals, clear corners, and new trunk lights that are OEM or DEPO, with the price difference very signficant: $474 compared to $220, respectively. would it look better with red clear red, or clear over red? anybody have an opinion? does anybody know whether the oem are worth the price as far as quality?

    4. and final, the tackytest. the brabus cars have recently added the puddle lamp system, and do you think it would be tacky to do this to my car? it would only be on when the dome lights were on, such as locking and unlocking or doors open. http://jlevistreetwerks.com/store/%3...6f1ed8f7db8448

any opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks everybody!

Personally I would just change the amber indicators to clear ones (front, back and side). I wouldn't bother with LED brake lights though.

get all your lights smoked, black wheels, and dark window tint. IMHO.

The last link is a definite NO, though.

do you think red clear red or just clear on top of red would look better?

I'd only make the turn signals clear (front, rear, sides). Nothing else. Smoked is fugly.

The LED is a good idea but I have my doubts about how it would look IRL.

i would go with the clear side blinkers and then the led tail lights with clear over red, not red clear red

I'd go with smoked front turn signal and led tail lights also clear over red, if there's any chance of smoking the clear on thoose i'd do it to.

I would go red-clear-red, having clear ontop of red looks slightly like you couldn't afford a lexus light (which, incidently are awful, even on a lexus).
