    Valencia F1 Race

According to our teletext service, Valencia will get the organisation of the future European F1 GP. For this purpose it will not use the Ricardo Tormo (F1 test) track, but will use a yet to be established public road track in the port area.

I hope that doesn't mean the end of our Grand Prix.

would be nice if the track would include Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias

as to the race itself... i'm not entirely sure wether it's a good idea to have another street race in the season - if singapur's evening race will work there'll be three of them; and as to me they're not that fascinating to watch

at least to 2011 it will

    EDIT new interesting facts...

the race will take place ONLY if the current valencia's president will win in the oncoming elections

valencia will have to 26 million euros a year to have the privilege of organising that race... that's probably the only way ecclestone got convinced

and that's how it gonna look:

But those two countries have a much richer motoring history and industry than Spain. Not to mention the involvement in F1, in terms of teams, drivers or money.

if that is the criterion why do we have a GP in Bahrain, Malaysia, China?

Because Bernie has dollar signs burnt into his retina's. Tradition is obviously one of his last criteria, otherwise he'd be going out of his way in helping the future of the British and French GP's, rather than threatening them.

And that's why I was wondering how much life is left for Montmelo's Grand Prix.

it all depends on the length of the current contract and the amount of moeny they are prepared to come up after the expiry date.
