No, I've changed my mind. I like 597 Jagdwagen the most. The essence of Porsche
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

My favorite Porsche would have to be the 993 GT1. A purists car for sure, and a fast one at that.

How can one expect just one favorite?

Agreed: the early short wheelbase 911 is not only stylish and was an exceptionally elegant replacement for the 356, but handles and goes like no other sportscar. The 2 ltr is perhaps the best all-round sports car ever built.

But favorite? Sheesh. It's not fair to ask... sort of like, who's the sexiest woman alive type of question. If one loves the looks of Angelina Jolie, how could one not also include Sophia Loren as the archetype?

I have a '62 356 Notchback Super and love it as much as my '68 911 Targa, but favorites are still the 550 or RSK, Abarth Carrera, 904 GTS, 908/3, and 914-6. Unfortunately, no way to have one, but fun to look at... sort of like Ms. Jolie.

But of course! Off-road, convertible, amphibious military prototypes - isn't that what Porsche is all about!?

I'm amazed that nobody has chosen Ferdinand as their favourite Porsche... after all he's the grand daddy of them all.

More seriously, the pop riveted 993 GT3... totally focused.
