that's correct, i don't remember what stupid law it was (i'd rather have the fuel tank explode outside the car rather than in with the passengers??? ) but i don't think it's an issue for the Clubsport R8/G8/VXR8

GM should just rebadge it and sell it as a Saturn in the US like they've done with Vauxhalls before

    Actually you're partly right.

It'll be sold as the Pontiac G8.

I guess you could do that too, since the body structure is probably the same anyway.

It would be expensive ordering the parts from overseas, but it's possible.

I'll give this snotty bitch some fulking aussie finesse! Like what's the problem with Vicki's mouth? Yeah ok she's out of synch there in the vid, but why the droopy mouth and flapping lips, the slurring and the spittle? We've got to be talking cerebral stroke here (ie damaged brain) or maybe she's just come out of major dental surgery and the anasthesia hasn't worn off yet (ie non-fuctional brawn)

Either way, it's a bit rich of this pretentiously perfect Mz Vicki to lecture us 'colonials' from on high about the refined art of finesse, while she herself is talking out the side of those rubber-girl lips and all the while producing enough spittle literage to out-lubricate Jamie Oliver

Tell him in a test head to head with a FPV S6 E63-AMG this car (well the softer sister of it) Beat all but one, The E63 AMG. But it was close.

    America:

First is the Aussie Monaro. Seconds is the HSV GTO. Last is the GTO with ugly U.S ad on's. very much 3 different cars.

Yep, don’t blame us for that. You Yanks seem to think everything needs bonnets scoops to make it look like a sports cat. I am a little surprised at the amount of bling that was left of this time though!

I doubt they will do that since you'll get one built in Belgium. However you're being ripped-off with powerplants. Only one, and not exactly the best one.

I saw one of these GTO to Monaro converts at the NHRA drags at Indianapolis Raceway Park. I thought that it was very nice looking, definitely better than the GTO.

I was surprised at how many of the guys that bought them did that to.
One guy was trying to contact some aussie's to have them ship over parts, He was even trying to get the holden key..

Isn't the Pontiac GTO being discontinued, here in America?

    The Holden import version.

It's already out of production. The G8 could be considered a bit like its replacement.
