    Girlfriend's new ride.

So for £450 she picked up a Peugeot 106 1.0I (95-96) Escapade. In immaculate condition. Very well kept and I must say its probably one of the smarter cars to start off with (being a young driver)

3 Doors, power steering, radio etc etc. I think she did pretty well.

Photos are from her camera phone, so v bad quality but I thought I may aswell post it here. Why not!

wow bringing back memories of my first car...

indeed it is a good starting car. cheap to buy and run, quite spacious and a doddle to park.

Girls can't park anyway, so it doesn't matter how easy it is to park.

It's a fine car to start. And the price is good too.

but its smaller, so probability states that she'll hit less

Thats correct. A little less metal to bend.
Though it depends on what car she hits, and how fast.

Smooth machine indeed, I like 106s GTis are... yummo.

And sorry, but why does that make her mother a cow? It's her car, so she can do what she wants with it...

OMG! She got two engines running at constant RPM up to 12,000! INSANITY!

Seriously, very nice car to start with. Congratulations to her on the purchase.

On some really cheap cars the tachometer is an option. Hence the clock in its place.

a sad person? her mother bought her a car so she would start lessons, only to take it off her 6 months later to buy herself a car. Leaving her daughter with no car having spent so much money on lessons already. Get your head out of your own arse.

thanks for the thumbs up guys I can say i agree with you all that its a great first car. I'll be looking for the same sort of thing for myself soon, maybe off the same buyer given the quality & price

It's sad to insult anyone who can't reply.
