My carbon fibre look comes from a discussion I had with Elliotti. He found some informative guides online. Basically it comes down to base paint and using the same shape several times over.

Landin T10, UCP Birdman (Xbox LIVE gamertag) humbly requests an EVO TME and a Lotus Espionage.
As for the game I'd like the downloaded tracks to be mixed into the caree mode. It's just that when I race against friends none of us have really spent alot of time at them.
Also I'd like a few more Forza wings to be available or at least to be able to paint on them. It would allow for a much more individual look to be given to the cars.
On a racing team, I'd love to do it but I haven't got the time or access to the internet at the moment. Possibly in two months or more.

fisetdavid26 have a look at the Lambo or the S7 in this set. Barely 20 layers on each side and they still look good. Otherwise I really don't mind the range of shapes since you can manipulate them in various diffrent ways.

I'm thinking of going back and making it better since I did that in 30 minutes from memory.

Great to see lots of people playing Forza 2 on this forum! My name is Landin Williams and I am currently working with Turn 10 Studios, the folks behind the Forza franchise. I stumbled upon this thread while browsing for automotive communities, and was surprised to see a thread dedicated to our game

The reason I am posting is to let you know you have a resource (me) to get cool in-game stuff! Feel free to post your Xbox LIVE gamertag and I will gift you a few exclusive cars from our collection! I would also love to hear any feedback regarding our game and how we can make it more appealing to automotive enthusiasts.

Also how many of you would be interested in forming an UCP Racing team to take on teams from other automotive communities?

    Let me know!
    XBL name is QuiZiggs.

As for what I'd like to see in the future, I've said it a few times. I'd like to see more choices in wheels and body parts. I end up using the same 5-6 wheels on all my cars. No BBS LMs? That's a crime against humanity!!! Give us the option of painting the lip of a wheel a different color than the face.

For the tuning side, one of the coolest things I've ever seen in a racing game was from Need for Speed Underground 2, where you could control the boost and timing maps for the circuit you were racing. Let me tune for more mid range punch on small tracks, or high end horsepower for tracks with longer straights.

There's a few ways you could do it. Either the way they did in NFS with direct tuning, or it could be done through buying different parts. Have two different stage 1 camshafts- one that gives a good bump in the middle RPM but runs out of top end; and one that has plenty up top but sacrifices low end power. Same thing could be done with turbos, really.

Another cool thing would be some cross-manufacturer swaps. I have dreams of driving a LS1 powered Miata, and a K20 powered RWD Cooper Mini.

And if I'm really going to nitpick, turbo lag. There really doesn't seem to be any. This is one of the things that Gran Turismo did really well.

Obviously more cars and tracks are always welcome, as long as they aren't redundant. This is something the GT series was terrible about. Multiple versions of the same car, but with different badging ARE NOT necessary. Really. Pointlessly slow cars aren't either. They are boring and forcing me to drive them will only irritate me.

And if you need anyone to do play testing for cheap? I'm your guy.

    Gamertag= II PUN II

It would be cool if you could create your own weather conditions. Rain, track temp, wind, humidity, snow, day/night etc... I mean who doesn't want to take the last corner of Sebring sideways in snow and an Enzo?

    A visible pit crew.

    Monaco.

And the shocker, Jagermeister logo, and Captain Morgan should be included in the standard decal set.

    Now give me free stuff.

I think you are misinterpreting my definition of slow cars. I'm talking about garbage filler cars like Japanese Kei cars and the like. Gran Turismo was full of pointless stuff like the Mazda Demio. Why in the name of God would I want to drive a Mazda Demio? Miatas are slow. Miatas are also a ton of fun and are actually a sporty car. Keep those.

There's something wrong and exciting in making a 2CV squeal its tires in the streets of Paris while doing 3mph.

    For me that's fun too.

Maybe they could keep those, but not force you to drive them.

    BOJ whiteballz is the tag.

you need tuner wheels (NISMO LM's etc) as said earlier, lip and face of wheels should be able to be coloured differently too...

Other than that? Bring back the drags!

i want to see cross manufacturer swaps but if that's not possible maybe allow it for older, out of production cars.
an original mini please! maybe some older stuff like triumphs or MG's and older alfa romeo's would be nice as well. ford RS200/escort, lancia 037, touring car jaguar XJS, BMW E24 635csi etc etc you get the point
some Australian cars would be nice, commodore and typhoon etc etc (bathurst and Phillip Island are really good tracks too )
more selection in wheels, as said stuff like volk CE28 time attack, BBS LM's, etc etc with the ability to specify offset and the like. ability to colour the wheel lips (titanium finish too?) and centres as different colours.
ability to paint rollcage, and perhaps add different finishes to exhaust tips.
allow widebody kits for some cars with and perhaps bolt on flares/rolled guards (torana SLR5000 k thx)

some of this is kinda small stuff that would just help the playability i think, some of it shouldn't be hard to implement

edit: bring back the drag race!

    Ah, I see.

Sorry, I don't play the game, so what's a unicorn car?

    No problem.
A unicorn car is a car that is not available in the normal game but can be bought in the aution house or won in various on-line competitions.

I'd love to see customisable weather conditions. That's probably the main thing that's a disadvantage to FM2. Apart from the aforementioned suggestions, your game is top notch, Perfect 10 out of 10.
May the downforce be with you
