    E30 318i

    Finally found one

It's in great nick. 177k' on the odometer

new clutch, new brakes, slotted front dba with bendix ulitmate pads, rear solid brembo' etc etc etc.

Its a comfy ride, but I have to sort out a few things with the suspension. It's also been fun with the short shifter too, a whole leap ahead from the tiresome times with the auto falcon. Seats are great, as is the smaller steering wheel the previous owner installed. The original overly sized one seemed a bit daunting to be honest.

I'm extremely happy, the exhaust note is nice, not too loud but noticeable at higher revs and the gear changes are smooth, nothing really to complain about at all. Not sure on any changes anytime soon. If anything, maybe black kidney beans and a m-tech 1 rear lip, which is more of a two piece lip spoiler. It is also missing the front lower lip, so I might source a m-tech II one or just a 'is' model one - both would look great.

    Nope, she's all clean

I had a full comprehensive inspection master check and everything besides some worn bushes was in top form, I couldn't let it pass so I went through the process and took it off his hands before he even advertised it. Good to know that forums are a terrific place to sell / buy cars, it removes the hassle of the 'other' person haggling for the price.

Btw, the third picture is before the new intake was installed, must have put it in there by accident.

Now I don't like BMW's, but to be honest, that looks pretty cool, the wheels are nice, have fun with it!

looks verry clean, reminds me of my onw E30-crush-period
I have had the privilege of driving such an animal, its really fun to drive.
verry controlable oversteer , which was for the best considering that I am a bit of a driving noob
you don't need enormous power to have fun in an E30...
btw ,experience also reminds me that the steering is quite heavy due to lack of power assistance, can you park at al with that small steering wheel?
or does it have the rare optional power steering?

I think the wheels are nice looking. I'm gonna beat Quiggs to it: the car needs LM's.

Those wheels, a short-shift and a smaller steering wheel are the only things that don't seem right to me.

Does it have a quickshift kit? If so I warn you that it will shorten the live of your gearbox.
Smaller wheel means a damn heavy steering unless it has power-steering (which most 318 don't have).
Those wheels aren't ugly but they look completely out of place on that car. They look like they are worth good money. Try to swap them for some proper and affordable one-piece BBS.

Congrats on your good taste. The E30 is a living legend.

i actually really liek the wheels. a bit unconventional style for the E30, but i think they are choice. but you can never go wrong with some old school BBS. The gold road wheels are the best addition to an E30, if not a bit gaudy these days.

Wow, nice ride Blitz I really like E30s, they're one of the most well-proportioned saloons ever made. Nice wheels, too. And induction kits... they sound the business!

looks very good. not a fan of BMW's in general but the E30's and the E24 635 are the exceptions
