More like a downgrade to me...

It's cheaper made and the 120GB hard drive is not an upgrade per se. $150 or less will give your first-gen PS3 a healthy 500GB HD to play with.

It's an upgrade when your system has an 80 gig harddrive. Plus I don't want to mess with the harddrive until the warranty runs out, and I don't have the computer knowhow to dare mess with the harddrives yet.

I just finished off all the A, B, and C class races in Gran Turismo Prologue and just started the S class races.

It's a pretty nice game, too bad all the nice cars are too expensive and there's not enough money to go around.

Shadow Complex. If you like Super Metroid, you should play this. If you've not played Super Metroid, you probably should. So.. that's on Wii Virtual Console.

Shadow Complex is on XBLA for 1200 MS funbux, it's essentially a 2D adventure game, only the depth of field is used to great effect to bring enemies into battle and whatnot. It's all about aquiring new powerups to allow access to new areas and boss battles and finding powerups in nooks and crannies and all that good stuff. If you want to know more, watch the latest episode of Co-Op. Pro-Tip. The spots on the progress bar let you skip to the start of the reviews.

playing wolfensten on PC at the moment. Overall a worthy successor to the previous installments. Less fresh and unique in most respects. But ultra mutant cult nazis are something you never grow tired of killing The multiplayer blows though.

Trying to finally beat Castlevania LoI on my PS2 (got bored with it the first time playing and never finished). Boning up for the arrival of Lords of Shadow early next year.

I've been playing Final Fight on my PSP. It is arcade perfect like the the version of Final Fight I used to play in arcades when I was 7, 8, 9 or 10 years old.

Mario games are my guilty pleasure (old NES/SNES titles mostly). This one was very unique compared with previous titles but I think you'll like it. It still accomplished a fluid platform style and inclueded all of the traditional Mario universe elements and then some.
