Played a whole bunch of the BF:BC2 (PC) single player tonight, until it crashed on me. God it's silly. Less ridiculous trial/error/keep reloading until you get lucky bits than MW2 though, which is a plus. No idea why I keep picking up 'collectible' weapons though... surely they should be still sealed in box to be considered a collectible.

i'm already maxed out on points as an engineer.. kind of ironic, though not unexpected given my proclivity for bullshit RPG-7 shots in the first game (a tradition i am so far continuing).

Well of course not.. if I was going to collect hot wheels, I'd chuck the box out and play with them!

Just finished a half hour of messing around with the Just Cause 2 demo. Title should be changed to Just Cause: Epic Shenanigans

You haven't gamed until you've ripped a motorcyclist off his ride by hooking him with a steel tension wire that you've already anchored to a nearby tree. The first game was merely amusing, but had terrible gunplay and got old quick. This one might be worth a look....for when I need some good laughs. Hooking an enemy soldier with your grapple gun and securing the wire to the bumper of an off road vehicle (for some good off-road dragging action) never gets old.

Man, Perfect Dark (XBLA) is proving to be just as time consuming as it was back on the old N64. Aside from a couple of missteps by the developers (online MP options aren't as fleshed out as I'd like)....this remake/re-vamp is proving to be quite an awesome experience. I'm even enjoying the improved simulant AI effectiveness in the Combat Simulator.

On that note..........anyone else managed to get the Tools of the Trade achievement to unlock yet? I've gotten silver medals on all 32 weapons thus far (and gold on most) but it still hasn't unlocked for me.

Starcraft 2 Beta. Having never played the first. I had no idea what I was doing my first game. Pretty complex game if you ask me.

You, sir, do not deserve such beta playing privileges; much less the opportunity to breathe air.

Yeah, being a PC gamer that's been alive in the past 20 years and not having played Starcraft is pretty sacrilegious.
