    ok go crazy...

at the end of the year im selling my new rally car thats being built at the moment and spending the whole of next year building another.

Its prob gonna be a 205 or a 106but at the moment i have no idea about engine / gearbox specs so im wanting you guys to just throw ideas out there.

im thinking something about 1.6 and within a reasonably price range. can have mods done to it though.

im sorted for suspension brakes and everything else though so just ideas for engine and traansmision really.
Cedric - I sound like a chipmunk on there. Some friends of mine were like, "were you going through puberty?" I was like, no I was already 20, I just sound like a girl.

If you want I can put you in touch with a classmate that is building a 205 up to racing spec. I think he was planning to race a while and then sell it when it's finished. He uses a modified 1.9 GTi block. From what I've heard so far it sounds like a very fun to drive machine.

Take old BMW 3 series 4 cylinder engine.

    Apply F1 style mods.

    Turbo to 60psi.

Try and keep it on the road.

How about Saxo Cup? 1.6 120hp factory, we use them a lot in rallying over here.
it's got great balance, much better than the 106.

I don't think so, at least in the road versions the saxo was almost a second faster from 0-100 than the 106 gti, 7.8 to 8.7 not vr sure about that, also the saxo had it's own cup car, we had saxo rally and circuit championships, that's why we had the Saxo CUP , meaning the car as more parts for it and can be more developed than the 106gti.

Mustang, look at them! First 1.6, then 1.8T. Next week you'll be told to put the V16 in the 106. And one more week over there will be another V16 in the back of this.. lol
