Technically I think it was supposed to come out in March only in Japan with possibility of world release of summer 2010. Now it seems it'll be a world wide release all at a later date...

No can do, I'm taking winter classes right now. Busy...
And honestly, I lost most of interest in GT5. I definitely won't pick it up at launch, but I might pick it up when it hits $25 or $20. Not worth my $60 that's for sure.
If they're delaying it for the 3D stuff then they've got their priorities in the wrong spot.
Most people have lost interest in GT5 as it is, and about 100% of the people on this planet don't have 3D TVs. I fail to see the reason why we should wait any longer for a game that should have come out 2 years ago.
Nor am I. But I heard the PS3 can be updated so that it supports the 3D technology.
And I'm not surprised it got delayed. This is Polyphony we're talking about.
Remember how long it took for GT for PSP took? 5 years I believe?
The PS3 will be updated to be able to do 3D, but you'd need a new TV.. at the moment they say that the Panasonic and LG Plasmas are the ones to go for for that because it's blurry and stuttery on the LCD ones.. but they'll be better once they hit the stores. I'd say the tech needs at least a couple of years to mature before it'd be actually worthwhile though.
Here is my racing cockpit with Logitech G25 wheel
I will be using this when GT5 comes out, I think I have plenty of time to finish building it.

Now now, they've said that it'll definately most likely have a damn good crack at being possibly out at some point maybe before or after christmas this year. Probably. We think.

it getting annoying.
i mean the prologue is obsolete now, and there are no positive signs.
so is it coming out in 2010 or what ??
A few weeks at E3 and we'll know for certain.
Don't forget, GT5 has only been delayed ONCE. The release date for March in Japan only was delayed.
Polyphony have never touted any other dates, nor has Sony.
As for Forza, well, I bought an XBOX to check it out and I was disappointed.
If you take a look at it, 1000 cars is a LOT to feature in a game. That's more than Forza 1, 2 and 3 combined. Probably more than the entire car list of Forza and Need For Speed titles over the last 15 years.
I'm happy to wait, it'll be worth it.
Take '1000' with a grain of salt. There'll be 33 Mitsu evos, 56 Skylines, 28 Imprezas... and an arseload of shopping cars. I like shopping cars being in racing games, but yea. Though TBH I have issues with Forza's car selection too, so I'm not going to start arguing the pros and cons of each. Just maybe that they didn't need to spend so much time putting in 1000 cars when only about 400 of them will get used.
