    The car's basic design stayed the same throughout development, so you either hated it the second it's concept was released, or you don't know what you're talking about.

    I thought it produced about 987 hp?

    Either way it's an ugly cow of a car that has an astronomical price tag simply for 'baller status'.

    In my opinion, the Bugatti Veyron is one of the most beautiful supercars ever built. As for the Pegaso Edition....they could have given it a better paint job

    They could have smashed it into a wall for all I care... but maybe then it would have looked better than the squashed beetle it is.

    I believe that is a matter of how you measure the horsepower because I think I read somewhere there are two slightly different measurements of hp and if you use one on the Veyron its 1001 but the other would say 987.
