RUF CTR Yellowbird is what dreams are made of
Its not a Vanq S replacement.
That is due in 2010 (they just don't have the production capacity to make it sooner).
This is just a DB Special, in this case for the movie

Sure is, but the current problem facing AM is their success.
The DBS was intended to be a movie special only, but demand has them building ~500 of them, and the Rapide, just a show special, will become a fully fledged production model.
The work bays at Gaydon will really struggle with a car the size of the Rapide, so it looks like either they have to refurbish Newport Pagnell for assembly or build another new factory. They still don't have any spare capacity on the current production of AMV8s and DB9, a demand they never expected to be as high, or long lasting.

Well you've got to admit, every Aston model bar the outgoing Vanquish is absolutely spot-on. The DBS is a DB9 for a slightly younger, more perofrmance hungry market. I'd buy one. The Rapide meanwhile looks set to become the best looking 4-door car ever, bar none. If it can perform too, success is almost guaranteed.

But if they driop the Vanquish S (do they?) it could be considered as a sort of a stopgap car before the next Aston Martin flagship comes along.
I agree with everything, except that they should perhaps start being more original with the shapes of their cars, and less the same in different sizes.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
