    No A3 VR6 6MT = fail.

    GTI > all others.

    1. BMW 135i
    2. VW R32 DSG
    3. Audi S3
    4. Alfa-Romeo 147GTA
    5. Audi A3 2.0T DSG

    I know that's a wise-ass answer but that's honestly how I feel.

if it is a free-for-all you might want to add some versions of the Renault Megane, but I assume that is an unknown quantity where you live

Will they bring the S3 here please!!

I knew I forgot something! I all I know about the car is from what I've read in EVO, but I already love that car. The Renaultsport Megane R26 etc is awesome and I really wish they'd bring it to the US. Good call.

We can have that. It's not our fault if you can't.

I love how the Megane looks, untill that stupid steering wheel and ugly dash plus the Startrek handbrake spoils it... french sure don't know how to make nice interiors.

That's why it never made it to the US. The Startrek handbrake is so big that it takes the space for the McDonalds cup.

    Volkswagen Golf.

The Audi looks better but it's rubbish. You can only have 5 doors if you go for the SportBack, and even then, people over 6ft won't be able to sit in the back, yet in the Golf 5dr, there is ample room all round, even the 3dr has plenty of room. Then you've got the price. The A3 is hideously over priced considering SEAT, VW & Skoda offer essentially the same car for a hell of a lot less.

How is the Megane's steering wheel stupid? It looks pretty normal to me

the megan r26(?) was second to the audi s3 as best hot hatch in an autocar group test, so at least it is a decent hot hatch, but in standard form its just a bit too french for me. i know people will hate me - but i prefer the golf in gti form to the audi.

Why? I think it's a perfectly sensible decision.
