    Could be one of those houses they set a fire in for the guys to practice certain situations in. Or it could be photoshop. Or, it could just be a group of idiots.

    That doesn't say anything. Here in Eindhoven they let almost burn down an entire street (buildings were due for demolishing anyway). They let the fire department practice in stopping the fire but also practice to let it 'controlled' burn down. They even shoved some cars in some buildings to practice for that.

    i thought every house in the us was made of wood too? well except for ny. and las vegas where houses are probably made of fake wood

    Haha, I just read today's newspaper. There was a small article over this incident. It says that the commander (guy with the green thing on*) was very shocked about the picture(s) and that he has apologised to the house owners.


    * The green thing says 'B 129'. This stands for ' Bevelvoerder 129'. Which means that this man is in charge of commanding the crew from engine 129. Since a few years these people are obligated to where these things so that during bigger calls the OVD (Commanding Officer) knows who to speak to.
