That color does it no favours. Other than that just as expected.

News, Auto + Produkte- Audi RS 6 Avant: Der Power-Kofferraum - auto motor und sport

Some info in German. Two things strike me. First the torque, "only" 650Nm? I guess the gearbox can't cope with more (But then why not upgrade it or something?). And secondly with 0-100km/h it's as fast as the significantly less powerful Mercede-Benz E63 AMG Estate.

Those 650 Nm are the same from 1500 to 6250 rpm.

    Whoa, those photos are huge.

Please attach the photos next time.

Other than that, the looks are expected, as others have said. I was really looking forward to this car and I'm not disappointed. That color looks alright, but it's not exactly my first pick. Black or silver would be nice on it.

doesnt this estate version look a bit too much like a 5door A3? I still think though they all should be concentrating on lighter cars instead of excessive vehicles as these

imo, they should have released the sedan first because station wagons are mostly based on sedans which in this case would make it look the other way round.

Audi is a luxury brand. These are the type of cars to expect from them. If you are so insistent on lighter cars, that's what VW, SEAT and Skoda are for.

Yes, which leads me to believe that the engine is electronically limited. And if you're going to engineer such a powerhouse, why not spend another 50p in the transmission? Either that or don't make the engine so performant in the first place.

I think (haven't researched it exactly) that VAG cars are comparatively heavier than its rivals. Especially japanese cars. And anyway despite making luxury cars they should concentrate on losing weight, that way cars would be faster and more frugal and they wouldn't need such big and powerful engines to have similar levels of performance.

Look at Jaguar. In my opinion this should be the way to go.

    Torque doesn't sell cars ...
