    Another car?

So, you might have seen my thread in "User's Rides" in relation to my car... a Japanese 1982 Honda Civic (no V-TEC, thank God ). Well, I have enough money and I have an oppurtunity to buy this car. A manual Suzuki Cappuccino.

So, should I buy this or not. I just would like to hear some opinions. Thanks.

Note - Can a mod please change the title to "Another car?" The i is a typo.

Without knowing the price it'll be difficult to really give an answer, but if it's decent then yes without a doubt.

Why buy a car so small?

It makes no sense unless you really want a small convertible with practically no room for any luggage. It might be pretty good on gas, but that's probably the only good thing about it.

If you're basing the purchase of this car on your Intial D obsession that's a stupid move as well.

The Capuccino is a really fin car to drive.
If it's the right price and in good condition, go for it. You'll really enjoy the experience.
Also if you really get into it there are many performance options available - some that will scare a Porsche
The handling of this and the Honda Beat are fantastic and make the comaprision to a roller skate handling make the original mini feel like a limo

I've always loved the Suzuki Cappuccino. I loved the Cappuccino EA11R before I knew what Initial D was. Also, I am not obsessed with Initial D. I just like to play the game and I've only seen 10 minutes of the Initial D anime. Matra just said it's a really fun car to drive and obviously it's a great looking car.

Sorry, I was assuming that you were obsessed with it, because you did spend a lot of money on that game.

If the price works, the car is in good condition, and you really do want it then go for it.

If that's what you like, I say go for it. Seems a bit lacking in the ppower department, but I suppose that could be changed...

Plus he has a Civic, which I guess is practical enough.

i say dont buy it purely because its called 'cappuccino'. Its one of those cars which tries to look like the mazda 5 but just looks a little silly. Like the cars in the game BURNOUT

I havent a clue what its like though, we dont get them over here.

Yes we did - they're no longer in production.

There concept car was shown the same time as the mx-5 so "tries to look like" is a bit cruel -- especially given the MX-5s goal to look and BE like an Elan

You should know by now not to base judgement on cars based on GAMES
Go to car show and look over one of these ( or Honda Beat ) they are fantastic pieces of engineering and DO drive very well

yes you do. iirc a lot of aftermarket development for the cappucino was done in the UK. including a kit that makes them look like a mini dodge viper...

i say no on this. I think you should save your money, let it gain interest, and buy a nicer car that maybe you like more. Dont settle for less is what i say.
