COMPETITION OVERVIEW
Arcade Mode Championship with 8 Rounds.
Each Round wil last for one month.
Each Round will be run with:
15 days for Qualification
(Saturday at 00.00 AM to Friday at 23.59 PM on the first two weeks); Time Trial Mode;
15 days for Race
(Saturday at 00.00 AM to Friday at 23.59 PM on the third and fourth weeks); Race Mode.
NB: CONFIRMATION DEVICE IS NOT A REQUIREMENT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION
Each pilot will be allowed to miss one qualification session and one race session during the entire championship, with a DNF (Did Not Finish) MARK ASSIGNED ON EACH MISSED session. Any subsequent missed session will mean a penalty of 3 points from the overall classification. 3 extra absences besides the allowed ones will mean the disqualification and retirement from the tournament.
1.3 -
Time Sending Format
Any pilot is allowed to send as many times as desired. Times must be sent according to the instructions supplied on each session's thread.
Classification (points) table will be updated WEEKLY or whenever possible, with indication of the time difference, by the second, between each pilot and the fastest one until that moment.
Time sending format will be defined on each session's thread.
All foreign pilots (not Portuguese) will be granted an extra 8 hours period for times delivery, after the official deadline.
We do not encourage secrecy, neither sending each pilot's times close to the end of the deadline; ON THE CONTRARY, it will be allowed to discuss final times, tactics, T times, video posting, etc. anything you wish;
HOWEVER, THIS WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED DURING EACH RACE SESSION; DURING EACH QUALIFYING SESSION IT IS FORBBIDEN AND IT WILL MEAN A PENALTY OF 3 POINTS TO THE PILOT.
1.4 -
Session validation: (video, if requested)
Video replays (if requested) must be sent with a view format in third view, from behind and aalowing a perfect visualization of times and course. Before sending, check your video and confirm if you could view it in good conditions. If the "Judge" is unable to view your video correctly and in good conditions, your submitted time will become invalid. For those pilots unable to record the entire race, last lap recording will be accepted. All replays in AR MAX format are prefered.
- To validate each result, each contestant must take a photograph of the time trial session final screen, with the best time visible. Any digital device may be used, as long as the result , car and track are visible.
- Because it is possible to find some images with best lap times on the Internet, all your photos must include a paper visible with your GTPT nick and a reference to our Internet address.
- All info, including, track, car and time, must be visible in the photo.
- If you don't fulfill all the requirements regarding the validation photo, it may be considered invalid.
- "In case of any doubt, GTPT BMW M Cup Staff may ask for a confirmation of the time submitted, whether in a video format or any viable and verifiable mean of confirmation."
