Underworld. I can't recommend them enough. Their 1992-2002 collection is a good starting point, and from there branch out to their complete albums.

I also noticed Infected Mushroom, and I'll second that. Brilliant psy-trance, even friends who hate electronic like it.

If you want some cool club/dance electronic, but more vocal and musical, try out Basement Jaxx, Herbert, The Knife, Massive Attack, or Goldfrapp. While not overly dancey, more ambient, no self-respecting electronic music enthusiast's collection is complete without some Boards of Canada. Get their albums 'Music Has the Right to Children' and 'Geogaddi'. Astounding stuff.

    Some other house/trance/club/whatever recommendations:
    808 State
Armand Van Helden (I'm sure you'll know 'You Don't Know Me')
    MSTRKRFT
    Felix da Housecat
    Paul Oakenfold
    DJ Tiesto
    Astral Projection
Hopefully this helps. I love all types of music, so if you haven't gotten enough I'll be glad to recommend more, more thoroughly.
i was waiting on a moment, but the moment never came. all the billion other moments, were just slipping all away. i must have been tripping, we're just slipping all away. just ego tripping.

A similar, less popular, but very nice group with the same French house flow, is Casino Inc. I'm a big fan of them

    Welcome on Casino Inc. website

    Edit:

Check this webradio as well. It are recordings made at the best club i've ever been to, Club Tresor in Berlin. Great recordings that really capture the dark sound they play a lot there.

Cosmic Gate and Sander Van Doorn, that's all you need to know.

As whiteballz said, try Daft Punk, but if you're willing to experiment, try Royksopp.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

15GB, nice! Some trip-hop standouts would be Thievery Corporation, Future Sound of London, Massive Attack, Air, and some Tricky. Check them out first. If there's no FSoL in there, then well I don't know what to say. Get some.
