Well, as usual it depends... in this case mostly on the course (how twisty and how steep). During one straightish hill climb in which my friends competed, a guy in a Turbo Swift GTi wouldn't understand how my friends in two Clio's RSI and a NA Swift GTi were beating the s**t out of him since he has hitting 180 kmh at the end of the longest straight. We call it "Turbo Sindrome": flat out on the straight, very early breaking and like a grandma around the turns, so slower overall.
So back to your question, is it hp or handling? It's balls my friend!!! Just kidding, but it's always true that "power is nothing without control".
I've done three of them with a win and two seconds in my class (in my daily driver).

When I was 16, I went to the Bertil Roos Racing School in Pennsylvania. It was a 5 day school and at the end I had my SCCA National License. I had a great time, and learned a lot. I've been racing SCCA and some other stuff ever since!
BTW, this is my first post and I wanted to make an introductory thread to say hello to everyone, but I can't... So do new users have restrictions on making new threads?

Yea I still race. Last race was in August and I finished 3rd. Next one wont be until spring though, probably in Virginia.
So how many posts does this forum require to make new threads?
