    It's probably the same thing as carrying a big wallet in your pocket.. or a cell phone and pda. I don't see the big deal about a pound or two of weight.

    going at 200km/h i don't look at the dash if i can help it it'd be useful provided it doesn't interfere with visibility... but then a lot of race cars don't have it either.

    The HUD weighs about 1/4 pound....maybe...Its smaller than my hand

    and when you going really really fast, looking straight up, even if its just 5 inches it makes quite the difference
