I am using a torque wrench just that particulra ones a bastard as you have to keep the tensioner spring compressed AND hold the little block and bolt in place whilst trying to tighten with your other hand

Anyways i whipped the head off today so its all set to go to the workshop wednesday.

Also been under the car all night and im at the stage where its ready to get the old one out, just have to get the engine crane off my mate this week Such a rough job, my back hurts, i swear im giving myself the flu but itll be worth it if i get the new engine in by the end of the weekend.

Well im tossing up at the moment if I try and get the thing back over rego so i can drive it to meets and on weekends or if I just leave and go spastic stripped out racer on it. Each has pros and cons decisions decisions...

Ill have to go over the suspension and brakes before any serious driving as its been sitting for over 2 years now.

Mate I saw porsche calipers on a 200B yesterday... anythings possible

Does the ACT have 'Club Rego' that NSW has? This allows limited driving of race modified cars on the road

30 years of grime is disgusting and difficult to work around.

Need to pickup engine hoist and im all set to pull it out. I have pulled the extractors off since this pic.

Itll stay yellow for a while. I do have a colour scheme in mind though.

My fingers still have that dark crack filling that just wont scrub out I love it though. I working in my mums driveway so being supercareful not to drop fluids/grease everywhere. i dont really care about what comes out as im not reusing any of it. Ill get some tarps though underneath when its all out and scrub all the gunge off.

    I shouldn't talk about writing.

Your working hard and doing great, When done you will be happy with yourself.

Like the VT, 12 months long, And only days away from registration, I'm so over the moon finally done, I gave myself a pat on the back, And so should you.

    im hoping so.

Got my 5 speed box back from the workshop today. Stripped down an inspected the 2nd cog and syncros were munched so they were replaced. Exxy but i think worthwhile seeing in hillclimb you spend most of your time in 2nd or 3rd gear. I have 3 months to try and break it anyway as it under warranty
