    AC Schnitzer 5-Series Drivers Collection

this car uses to be parked near my university in Modena, at first i only noticed the black rims, and found it kinda ugly. just another 530d touring with the M Sport package. after a week i noticed the AC Schnitzer badges, but i cannot say if they were already there the first time. the fact is that the car seems very similar to a standard 5-Series M-Sport, and i don't think it's an official AC Schnitzer for some reasons: it looks standard, there still are M badges on the wheels (pic), the only thing really changed are the badges (also on the steering wheel, i can not shoot it because of the reflection on the window) and finally, i cannot find something similar on their website. any help?

you could move it to the Hide-Out, if you find a place to place it

from what I managed to find, the "Drivers Collection" is just a collections of accesories such badges, emblems, keychains, hats and so on...
I am easily satisfied with the very best.

as i thought...it could be the first AC Schnitzer i had ever was, but it failed, almost.
in Italy i didn't see much tuned cars, i mean, by real tuners like this, maybe a MB by Brabus and one by Carlsson, IIRC.

Today I've seen an Arden-tuned Range Rover Sport, but here you don't see profesionally modified cars very often either.

I see a Dinan 7 Series, previous generation, around my school. Nice, classic styling. Has some sort of forced induction whine. Maybe it's turboed or supercharged.

Every once in a while I do see a body kitted Mercedes, but I forget which one it's from.

...and with some luck it probably is a 520d...

Nah, oval twin exhaust = 6 cyl engine.

    But probably it's a 525d.

i will check if at least the exhaust pipes are from "AC S", i totally forgot.
it has an automatic gearbox, i can not say more for now.

in that pdf i didn't find something connected to a whole set of badges.
btw, i guess it's a little stupid to do and a stupid way to spend your money, also because here a very few people know AC S.
save some and get a proper tune!

Can the oval twin exaust be a addon? i mean, does bmw offer that? since he had the trouble with the badges, he probably "cheated" that to

Yeah. In fact it probably is just a 116i which looks a bit like a 5-series estate...

i checked the exhausts, and they are standard. but he added a big chromed "AC Schnitzer" badge in front of the passenger. i am quite sure it's a new add since i didn't notice last time when i took a look at the interior. tomorrow i will check if it is a diesel looking at the rev counter, but the majority of the 5-series here are 530d.

    edit: it's a diesel
