probably it's like they'd have to wait in a queue for months, if not years. and here they got it off-hand. people who get rich fast want to benefit from it instantly. i heard the story that on some previous china auto show one man was trying to get a 612 scaglietti without signing in on waiting list, offering two times catalogue price. I wonder how this man became a millionaire because he isn't very bright. The most you could really pay for a Veyron (excluding the limited editions) is $1.8 million.

Imported cars are still too expendive in china, for example, the Ferrari F430 which is 180.000 dollars in America is 2.7 million RMB in china(about 270.000 dollars). But its much cheaper than five years ago.
